Living in Katherine: 1990 - 1992

1990 - 1992 Katherine School of the Air

At the beginning of 1990 I packed up all my gear and arranged for my old gemini to go on a truck - I was off on a new adventure.

I had won a job teaching at Katherine School of the Air.

Over the next 3 years I had the most amazing opportunitites to travel all around the Top End of the NT, visiting students living on cattle stations, on fishing boats, in remote communities and in small towns.

I started learning to fly a small plans, became an experienced 4 wheel  driver and had my eyes opened about so many ways of life!
