2016 The Year in Review

Wow, we are already into 2016 and I am looking forward to the big celebrations for my 50th in Greece mid year.

To kick start the year I travelled to Sydney to spend time with my sister Deb who has still been unwell since her aneurysm last April. It was a busy few days but I felt good being able to help her out with lots of little things.
I took a few days and drove up to visit long time friends Annie and Tony with boys Kirk and Max for a few days early in the New Year. It has been since the start of 1988 that we have been mates and whenever we are back together we just click back in place. I enjoyed seeing how gorgeous the boys both are as they are finishing their teenage years.

Annie, Tony and I with friends from Port Macquarie headed to Laurieton on the Saturday night to see James Reyne & Moving Pictures perform at the local RSL. Amazing how many of the songs we all knew...don't think there was anyone in the audience under 40years of age.

I also had a special catch up with LeCointres as they stopped in Darwin for a day in November  as a part of the Cruise taking them to various ports in Australian and Asia. As always fantastic to see them and time flies and the years fall away as we chatted at Fiddlers Green at the Waterfront.

Mandy McKinnon, husband Tony as well s Jill Finch and I all managed to get away from work for the afternoon to catch up.
